    I have a long dresser with the same decorations as in the first picture. I want to change it, but my husband likes it the way it is. I use it as side board

      @Liliana Wells I live by the rule if I love it, I leave it. If I don't I paint it. Maybe one day his love will stop for that piece and you will get to paint it :-)

    Great job on the furniture. What a difference between the Before and After. I myself love changing the look of some of the furniture pieces I pick up. I usually sand and re-stain another colour, but there are a couple of pieces that I am going to try chalk paint, and possibly add stencils to as well. From a $20 deal to making it look more expensive, and selling it for $200 + depending on the piece I finish.
