Burlap Santa

Saw a few burlap Santa hangings for sale for $45.00, so I got busy. I used some leftover burlap, drew my Santa with a dark pencil, used end pieces of quilt batting for filler, and sewed around the lines I drew using my sewing machine. Next I mixed half wood glue and half water and applied to the whole drawn area with a foam brush. I let it dry for at least 24 hours, then I painted ole Saint Nick with craft paints and let dry. An unfolded large paper clip makes a great hanger. So for less than $5.00 I have a burlap door hanging.
