Concrete floor would ne very hard on your joints.
One would need to get some professional advice before making a cement floor due to the weight of the product. Probably best left to professionals.
I agree with Kathrine, concrete is very hard on jointS, even When vinyl is laid on top. It is also a cold surface and the cold will seep through your slippers (house shoes).
Continued.... If you slip and fall, God forbid, your landing will be harder and you will break and bruise easier. I slipped on concrete surface recently and ached right through for weeks. Good luck with your decision.
