I am going to make some of these for out at the cabin. The issue I need to address is how am I going to convince the bats that have taken up residence under the eave of our cabin, to move into the beautiful new home I have built them?
I would google it, or maybe even call your wildlife rescue group in your area then. I have seen many ideas.
I own a townhome along with 178 others and we had bats under eaves and in attics of some homes. We hung heavy duty sheet plastic along the roof lines with nails...the bats came out (we even had watch parties) but it was too difficult to enter under the bottom on the sheets...we used 12 wide plastic and our bats were gone and the mosquitos returned. If you can get some of the guano (bat droppings) and place in the new bat houses that is supposed to draw them to a new home. Hope this helps for you...did a great job for us.
