How do I remove mold from window sashes and frames?

I had a window in the shower of my 1 st 50's built house. I used moldex, primed and painted. Then I cut down a higher quality plastic shower curtain to make a cover for the window.
I gave it about 6 inches extra on all sides and bottom as well. that window had metal trim. if it were wood trim, i'd have caulked, stretched window film to the sides of the trim and taped with a electricians tape.
Depending upon how much moisture you have, you might try a small decorative bowl, perhaps painted blue, filled with kitty litter to absorb some of the moisture -- and then set a small toy duck atop it.
