Naomi on Dec 10, 2013Hi Susan, I'm Naomi from Hometalk Support. Because there are so many ways that a photo is displayed across the site, there is no one full-proof position that will guarantee you the same look 100% of the time. We generally recommend cropping photos to a square shape for best results. Meanwhile, something that you can try for optimizing how your photo looks is the "edit photo" tool that you will find at the lower right of the photo light-box (-click on your photo from inside the post to find this). Clicking on this link will open your photo in the Aviary edit program which will allow you to edit your photo's size, colors, focus etc... Just keep in mind that the changes that you apply to your photo will be the same everywhere that your photo displays across the site. Hope this helps!Helpful Reply
