My storage room was horrible, it was directly inside my back door and consisted of one wall of shelving and the opposite wall had a closet rod with a shelf on top. With some planning, bargain shopping and help from my husband, it turned out Amazing...and fairly cheap.
Before...cleaned up version, these shelves housed everything we didn't know what to do with.
Opposite wall, this coat rack was filled with my husband's coats, rain gear and snow gear.
I bought this 1990 version shelf and coat rack complete with wooden pegs... from craigs list for $10.00
I chalk painted it, antiqued it, and added hardware from hobby lobby
Close up of hardware
I bought unfinished box cabinets from Lowes and chalk painted and antiqued them.
The bench tops are 2 x4's, stained a dark walnut, they were $1.39 each.
The counter top is a slab of pine from menards $8.00. Stained dark walnut
My lighting is hard to photograph in , so colors are shadowed.
