We felt like our Ballard Designs inspired shutter shelf project wouldn't be complete unless we found metal shelf brackets similar to the inspiration picture. We couldn't find anything like them in the home improvement stores. Ordering them online would've been way too expensive. To improvise, Jason was able to make the shelf brackets himself out of 1/8" steel flat bar. The final cost per bracket came close to a dollar each! There's a video tutorial on the blog that shows how my husband made them with a little ingenuity 💡 and a lot of 💪🏼.
