I think you're going to need a drill for this one, maybe you can borrow from a neighbor?
There are special hangers you can get at the hardware store just for that purpose. They are like a flat, round piece of plastic with 4 thin pieces of metal (like little nails) and you can hammer them right into the basement walls, and they work!
