Once the gel coat on cultured marble is worn to the point of no return, there is very little you can do other than replace it. You can buff the top with a quality buffer and rubbing compound, but you must be very careful not to scratch it. Contact a manufacturer of the product in or around your area and see if they offer the service. They may be able to look at your counter and evaluate if anything additional can be done to restore or save it. I worked in the industries many years ago and cultured marble had definite limitations.
Look at Unicorn Spit Vibrant colored gel stain. It has been used on counter tops to change the looks and it is very cost effective. It can be manipulated into many different looks, from subtle to wild.
