"Rustic kitchen town holder" is the title: I was wondering what a "town"holder is......
I love it!!
This is lovely!!
(I'm sorry for being so dense, but I don't understand what I'm seeing in the photos......help)??? (Please)???
But.......BUT, there looks to be either a door that needs to open, (and a mysterious drawer pull to the right of the top door knob?). Since I don't see any hinges on the left (where the door opening space seems to be), then each time the door is pulled open....to the right...there's all that extra weight to move? Extra weight on the hinges (to the right)?? I'm just all confused by this; I wish there was a longer perspective of this treatment so I could get the bigger picture of what's going on. [Not saying this is bad; just that 'I' don't have a grasp of it...yet].
I believe she painted a long piece of wood blue. At the top of the blue wood is an old key hole for decoration. Another piece of wood is attached to the blue one. It is painted white. It has a small piece of wood sitting on top with a piece of trim under that. Below the trim is a door knob. Look at the picture that has the coffee pot on it. The coffee pot is sitting on the piece of white wood and there is a towel hanging on the door knob below. Can you see it now?
The pot may be a watering can.
One more thing. This is not a door. It is just a decoration. A very nice one!
absolutely great way to repurpose items and end up with something beautiful.
OHHHHH, if all that decor is NOT attached to a door, then ....phew! The project is over-the-top clever.....as is its creator! Thank you to one and all! : ) One photo from a distance would have helped this ole gal...lol.
Thank you for saying so! You are very welcome. It took me a few minutes to figure it out so writing it was confirmation. Glad I got it right 😊!
