In 1992, the laminate cabinets and countertops in this Morris County, NJ home were state of the art. Now the homes new owner had a new image of modern she wanted to create! The result is a modern classic: a gourmet kitchen featuring professional grade appliances from Wolf Miele, and KitchenAid.
The cabinetry door style is Breckenridge Cherry wood with a hestnut finish from UltraCraft. The countertops are Super White Quartzite - with a butcher block top integrated with the island next to the prep sink!
The glass mix backsplash is called Clear and Natural Shore Brick. As not to interrupt the wall tile, under cabinet outlets were utilized. The countertop and backsplash areas are illuminated with under cabinet LED task lighting strips.
The flooring is 4” x 24” porcelain plank tile.
The great room now has an amazing seventeen foot long bar that includes a stainless steel undermounted sink with a brushed nickel single-lever faucet, under counter refrigerator, and kegerator.
The countertop is Lapis Lazuli, a form of granite that contains semi-precious stones. Actual gemstones provide the blue hue. This countertop has actual fossils embedded and visible. The fireplace was refaced with Island Stone rustic cladding tiles in sutra black to match the bar area’s backsplash wall.
The same plank tile flooring from the kitchen is on the landing, step and five feet along the bar and patio door wall. The 12’ sliding patio door was replaced with a 16’ folding door system from LaCatina.

Andre Beluchi on May 04, 2016The work that was done in the kitchen looks great, especially for a 20 year old home like that. What got my attention was the stone cladding work that was done there. What type of materials or tools would I need in order to do that type of work? http://www.bernini.com.au/cladding
