please, don't consider a "real live Easter bunny" rabbits are rodents, and will chew wiring, wood, your shoes... their teeth continuously grow and the chewing on wood and other stuff keeps the teeth shorter. you can litter box train them, and some pet stores have chew sticks for them. they can live for 6-8 years. their main defense is to rake with the back feet. if you do want to raise rabbits for fur or eating please do research as to the breed of bunny to work with. some are bred for meat, some for fur.
