Make A Metal Garden Sphere Planter From Thrift Store Finds!

It always amazes me when I hit the thrift stores and find incredible items that may not look like much but you just see the possibilities! I found this heavy planter at a thrift store for $5!
I know it is rusty and not in the best shape but these typically run at least $35-45 in my area and I knew I could spray paint this to really cover the damage. Next, my Dad picked up some metal planters for $2 for two pairs at an auction and I knew they would be perfect to create a metal sphere to place on top of this urn! Love when things come together like that.
Finally, I found this box of pine cones and wood slices on clearance at the grocery store of all places for $1.99! These would fit perfectly inside the urn for a winter display.
Can you believe these items cost under $10? You will not believe what this planter looks like now. It really looks like something you would find at upscale garden centers for a pretty penny.
