Back in the seventies my mom and I cleaned up this really old floor from like the 20's or older, using ammonia. Took that old wax and junk right off. The smell almost killed us we had to go out often for fresh air. Windows all open. But now it is the 2017 I'm sure in have invented something better to use that will work.
