You can try scrubbing, using an old towel, with lemon oil and cigar or cigarette ashes. Rub with the grain. Wipe down with lots of paper toweling, then another cloth to buff.
No, I don't know why the ashes, but they work as a very mild abrasive and stain.
Try using coconut oil or rub a walnut over the scratches. Many sites are claiming this is the new best thing. I have never done it but worth a shot.
To add if the scratches are deep fill them in with a wood crayon first.
Try using coconut oil
Olive oil and white vinegar. Then go over with a 220 sanding block.
Biu😊 There s a product called rejuvenate for floors, I had old oak hardwood floors with 20 years f wear. Used the product as directed and my floors looked brand new...apeveryone who saw them just raved how beautiful they were. I would not hesitate to use it on a table top.
Hi there, I can't say we recommend using any kind of oil product on a natural wood surface. I can, however, recommend giving it a nice sanding and refinishing. As long as you use a quality polyurethane finish or even an epoxy coating, you'll have a nice durable new finish for your table. (You'll also be able to change the color of your table with a stain, once sanded)
