Repurposed Sparkle Garland

Here is a great way to make use of that leftover Christmas ribbon. Using foiled ribbon I cut many slits down the length of the ribbon being careful not to cut all the way through. I did this on 2 different colored foil ribbon. Next I began twisting the 2 pieces of ribbon together every inch or two down the length. I secured each end of the ribbon with scotch tape to hold it securely and it was ready to use as bling for my New Year's Eve party decorations... This is an easy and inexpensive way to reuse ribbon to decorate for your party!
Here a shorter length of sparkle garland is wrapped around the stem of a champagne flute.
Cutting the ribbon close together or at different widths on each ribbon... You can use thicker ribbon and cut from each side into the middle.
Create any length of ribbon you need for New Year's Party bling.
Twisting the ribbon together every inch or so keeps the 2 pieces in place.
Wrapped around a rusty spring gives this tea light holder New Year's Eve sparkle!
A perfect solution for repurposing leftover Christmas ribbon!
