I installed Lumber Liquidator, St. James Collection, Dream Home Laminate Flooring 12mm High Gloss Embassy Mahogany Flooring in April 2011 and now I am really disappointed in it's durability. It's loss it's gloss and I'm trying to find something to restore that gloss. I've tried Bona, Bellawood, and Dream Home L. Fl. cleaners and non seem to work. Any helpful Ideas. Mr. Will.

I used pledge wood floor cleaner then followed with pledge wood floor finish. I am happy with the results, just follow directions on bottle, I purchased it at wal-mart. The wood floor finish takes less than an hour to dry. Hope it helps. I just read the bottle and it says normally will dry in 20 to 30 minutes.

A} a laminate floor has a "melamine plastic" top layer and once it looses it gloss....it done. Try complaining to Lumber Liquidators. B} I have never found any FIRST QUALITY material there...always remember, you pay for what you get. A bargain is not necessarily a bargain in the long run. Sorry...Have a Merry Christmas...Gary

its basically done its a film put on with heat and pressure with aluminum oxid and once its done its done.. im sorry sir... laminate is only good for about 7 to 10 years max the product thats replacing it is the luxury vinyl planks ..
