Why not get just new doors and drawers then since I know nothing about laminate painting for boxes, I would cover with contact paper to blend in with what you choose for doors. I wouldn't put tile on a counter top due to grout. Then you have to seal it and it becomes a pain to clean, plus most people well not purchase home because of it they see it as an expense they don't want. I like your bead board . The countertops I would not do wood unless it's teak which will not be damaged by water. And is expensive and special order. I would stick with white counters. Clean and you can see every crumb. I even like the walls in white that allows you to decorate with whatever colored accessory you want and when bored change them out. Plus your gorgeous floor will steal the show. People sometimes think that they have to add a color for impact I don't I think white is an impact and you highlight it with whatever you want at the time, trends come and go but white will always be.
I meant to say I don't think atht way white is an impact.
I have an idea, but it's not everyone's cup of tea, especially since no one seems to be able to even say any word other than "farmhouse" lately. Without spending a lot of time/money/effort those cupboards in all their pinky/peachy glory aren't going anywhere, so embrace the laminate goodness and go full on 1950's! Switch out the handles to something curved and chrome, bench tops could go to a white formica with chrome edge banding and that short built on backsplash that they did back then that was only around 12cm high. Then for the rest of the wall space something like this:

After that the rest is just accessories. Your cooker looks practically brand new, which is almost a shame because they are making some AMAZING vintage look appliances nowdays. I would have loved to do that in my house, but couldn't anywhere near justify the cost.
I want this in my life, but in red!

OMG that oven is AMAZING!! What a wonderful idea though, I do love the 1950's style as well, never thought to go that way, and I've seen alot of the appliances now days coming out in that style too. Thank you, you have given me food for thought (my mind couldn't get past those pink coloured laminates! ha ha)
l think retro is nice, if you like that style. But if you don't like it and are determined to keep your peachy colored laminated cupboards, how about researching new color trends to see what color combinations are being featured now? I've seen light pink matched with very bright orange and pale peach or salmon mixed with hot pink. It is hard to tell by your picture as your cupboards just look beige to me. How about mixing one of the very popular navy blue tones with it? Teal might be another great option as long as it doesn't clash with those green counters. Then again the green is good too. Why not take a coordinating shade of pale green to the interior of the cupboards? You might like it so much you could just leave the doors off. (But save them for new owners to replace if you sell your home.) I've also heard that several people on Hometalk have been quite successful painting laminate, so research this also, before making a final decision. Good luck with your redo!
I'm actually removing the green bench - needing colours for the new bench top?
Hi, yes you can paint over laminate. copy and paste this to your browser for your cabinets and doors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA6h5A-HF_4 I would go with white.
Instead of replacing the countertop (bench top) watch this video to paint them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8YzQksRy4A I would go with dark brown.
Have fun.
I'm not sure if the correct term is laminate, it's peeled off on edges (looks like its chipboard rubbish underneath).
