How can I make DIY drawer dividers?

Use boxes that are empty from various sources such as kleenex to oatmeal even soup cans. Then cover with heavy wrapping paper or scrapbook paper and fit in drawers. You may want to see if they will work for what you want,desk drawer, or under garments. Oop'sline the box with felt after you cover box or can but measure it out first then wrap. You can also paint them then line with felt obviously painting will last longer I find paper pretty. Or if you work with wood just measure drawer figure out how much space everything will need measure out and cut to that size and sand and they should fit firmly in place because of correct measurement. It all depends on what you use drawer for and how deep drawer is I would use wood in less deep drawer but boxes in deep drawers. Plus look at the site recommended by previous person, these people are very creative and frugal. I would go to dollar store and purchase items to fit drawers and that's it. Not worth the time involved but if you have time and items on hand go for it!

I'd go to the dollar store and get various sized/shaped containers and arrange as needed in your desk drawer. I used then to organize my silverware drawer and am so so happy with how it turned out!!

Hello Mary3dan, You can also use silverware organizer just about anywhere. I like the idea of gathering small boxes and fitting them together. Then paint or cover them. You can also use these for your cosmetics, medications,etc. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Measure the length that you want, (in your drawer) and go to a store, and look at the area for office equipment. I am sure there would be a area, for a divider that would have a spring holder, (like on a file drawer file) that can help you. Best wishes, J.
