Our house is all tarted up in tartan this year, as I wanted to create a cozy cabin feeling in our home. Many of the decorations are DIY projects that I created from thrift store shirts.
Our fireplace and built-ins are decorated in a variety of different plaid patterns. http://www.madincrafts.com/2013/12/merry-mad-house-christmas-2013.html
Guests are greeted at the door with a fluffy yarn pom wreath. http://www.madincrafts.com/2013/12/merry-mad-house-christmas-2013.html
Our tree is wrapped in wide plaid ribbon and dressed in tree skirt made from a round plaid tablecloth. http://www.madincrafts.com/2013/12/merry-mad-house-christmas-2013.html
Lighted garland and a plaid runner sit on the dining room buffet. http://www.madincrafts.com/2013/12/merry-mad-house-christmas-2013.html
