Removing Hard Water Buildup- Does Vinegar Really Work?
I agree-Vinegar does wonders!!!
50/50 mix of vinegar and water. WD 40 also works. Once you cleaned and dried them, rub them down with some wax paper. The wax will prevent the water spots stains for a longer time.
Lime away, but don't mix it with other products
Can not help you with removal of spots, but when you do get it done, apply car
turtle wax to it. Shine it up and spots will not come back. I wax mine about once a month.
Oh Cool--good idea thanks so much
I have used a spray of Vinegar and water, then sprinkled baking soda on the item so that it bubbles! Then it wipes right off. Baby oil or even olive oil is great to use on stainless steel to remove water spots and to repell water from sitting on the surface. Always rub with the grain of the stainless, and be sure to rub excess off with a clean damp cloth until the stainless shines! Reuse every 7-10 days and you won't have this problem again!
Thank you so much Rita
Bar Keepers Friend works on all metals, is inexpensive and takes very little effort. And It's reasonably environmentally friendly as it's just oxolic acid (pretty mild)
I use the off brand of Magic Eraser to clean not only the sinks, facets, and countertops but the backsplash as well. Everything gleams for months and my cleaning time is cut to a minimum in my very large kitchen!
Thank you Patti--I have this and I will try it
Oh WOW--interesting--thanks Kathy
Any one have an idea to keep your hand bags neet in your clothset? my is a mess. Thank you in advance.
Hey Susylexx, I have countless handbags and what I have done is place them inside each other by color etc. Once I have them organizd in this manner, I put them in wooden crates that are side by side in my upper closet shelf.
Hey--this is not Susylexx--but thanks for the reply
I use a hanging cloth sweater organizer. The kind that wraps around the closet pole. Mine has 7 or 8 shelves. Depending on the size of your handbag you can put 2 or 3 in each shelf.
You might either use vinegar or flat Club Soda.
I use Bar Keepers Friend and the dollar store magic eraser to remove the water marks on my faucets. I have both nickle and aged bronze faucets (in two different rooms)
Oh Great--this was suggested before but I have not tried this yet...Thanks for your suggestion
Really---this would be easy and this suggestion is the 1st--I will try it soon--thanks
