On any cultured product, including fiberglass tubs never use an abrasive. I always use the foam cleanser, Lysol® Spray Foam Cleaner or similar products. Even porcelain will scratch over time if you use abrasive cleaners. I'm old enough to remember the claw foot tubs that went bad after many years of abrasives like Comet® cleanser.
Tried the light abrasive cleaner and the scratches are too deep. The other 2 answers were not useful. Thanks
I was hoping you would get a useful answer, because I also have faux marble sinks. One is stained and the other is scratched. I saw this video on Hometalk and am seriously giving some thought to giving this a try until I can afford to redo the bathrooms, or at least replace the sinks. https://www.facebook.com/Hometalk/videos/1748053205212228/
