If keeping cabinets do they match copper? If so start with spray painting all cabinet hardware and don't forget hinges. If you like it then move onto lighting it may be difficult but have it disconnected then spray paint it as well. Then if you currently have stainless steel appliances combine the 2 colors with a silver or copper tray for candles with holders in opposite color. It's like mixing jewelry. It will work but not look out of place and all you did was spray paint what you have and screwed it back in. Light might cost more unless you can handle disconnecting it yourself or someone you know that would be kind enough to do it for you. Otherwise can be worth just purchasing one and then paying only once for electrical work.
