Several years ago, Martha Stewart posted a project in her magazine that was so great. I can't find the magazine or the article - but it was a piece of bamboo fencing (the kind that rolls up), attached to the side of a house on one end of the fencing. On the other end, she attached two bamboo poles, which were then cemented into pretty flower pots. It looked like such a great project. Really attractive and it looked very easy to do. Best of luck with your ideas!
Thank you. I'm working on a few projects at once. This is still in the can.
Just need time to accomplish but enjoying.
Happy pre Valentines day to you and yours.
I made a shade to over our outside light fixture by using a bamboo place mat and 2 embroidery hoops. I rolled the place mat into a cylinder shape. I opened the embroidery hoops and put one on each end of the cylinder and tightened the embroidery hoops so they are securely fastened. I placed the shade I made on the light fixture and it looks great. A little light shines through and it looks tropical.
Great idea thanks for sharing.
