Another Wreath Idea

I was inspired by the posts using old book pages to fashion wreaths that I just had to try some myself. This is kind of a cross between the two I saw posted earlier. They came out pretty cute so I thought I'd share.
Get out your canning jar ring, small or large mouth doesn't matter, it just depends on what size you want. Tear out around 5 or 6 pages of your book and using the inside edge, draw your circles. On 1 page you will need to draw 1 circle using the outside edge and set that circle aside.
Cut them out but keep them together.
Fold the 5 or 6 circles in half and then cut them into your petal shape.
Glue them side by side around the top side of your ring until you have gone all the way around. If I had any petals with a picture on it I put those aside to add contrast later.
Once you have gone all the way around, gently resold, fluff, and arrange your petals however you like. This is also where you might like to add the contrast petals.
Cut the 1 large circle into a spiral. About 1/4 inch is a good thickness.
Attach the outside edge of the circle around the inside of the ring and on top of where you glued on the petals. Only glue the outer circle of the spiral.
Turn it over and glue a ribbon around the outside edge of the ring. If you use a wide enough ribbon you will also want to fold it over the edge and glue it to the inside edge as well.
When you have gone all the way around, you're done!
I hope you have as much fun as I did putting these together!

Beautiful! It almost looks like a rhododendron bloom.
