A follower donated a table to me and I knew exactly what I wanted to do to it. Another stained top...
I sanded the table top down completely, then drew out my deaign
I used Jacobean wood stain and a cotton cloth wrapped around my finger to start shading.
Half way there
All done.
I painted the table base and the chairs a light blue, I make my own chalk paint so I can't give you the exact color, I then recovered them in canvas
I let the chairs and table base dry for a full day before waxing. I used Waverly clear wax on the chairs and table base to seal.
I used water based semi gloss varathane to seal the top. Top view
Side view I really liked how it turned out.
