Bye-Bye boring {fake} Oak Wardrobe! Hello funky~fresh, rustic beauty! My client wanted to use this piece in her nursery but wanted it to be funky and vivid! She shared fabric swatches from her rustic nursery plans and gave me artistic freedom to create a one-of-a-kind piece for her little guy's nursery! She wanted something that would last for a while too so I didn't go with "baby" themes. I used a little bit of this and a little bit of that to create a fun piece. Projects like this are always great because I get mix bold colors, textures, and patterns! They all came together in perfect harmony!

Martinigal on Mar 03, 2015Angela, The original piece was so cheap looking. I'm wondering what you did to the fake finish to allow you to work on the piece? I'm a newbie so I hope you don't mind answering such a simple question. BTW, I absolutely LOVE this!
