WINTER MUSINGS OF SPRING GARDENS
by

(IC: blogger)
In my part of this beautiful world, I get little down time from gardening. Winter is rarely cold enough to halt yard work, but occasionally Mother Nature gives me a little respite. During these times, I reflect on how in the coming Spring I will buy less seeds, less plants and thus plant less. Alas, I am never true to this self made promise and have already been fondling seed packets. Playing in the dirt is just so soul soothing.....

Margie*Lee on Dec 26, 2013Zee, I too am saying I will buy less plants next spring and spend more time in the beds. This year is the first time since living in this house that I hardly got outside to work in our flowerbeds. It's just the way my life went this year. However, I'm looking SO forward to getting out as soon as I can to begin cleaning up beds and getting ready for more time to enjoy our flowers all summer.
