Valentine party of four... Your table is ready!! Breakfast this Valentine's Day just got so much craftier with this fun, inexpensive and easy DIY tablesacpe.
Here I started with our blank breakfast table.
I love adding fabric to a table to use as a tablecloth. Here I used a broad black and white striped fabric that was left over from a different project. Where the two pieces come together, I'll be placing a table runner.
Here is the super-cute Valentine DIY table runner. This project is also on Hometalk. I simply painted shapes onto burlap using cookie cutters with acrylic craft paint. See the project here: A Valentine Table Runner ** BTW: This table runner is more of a decoration and not to be laundered...if you want to launder your table runner, use a different fabric other than burlap and fabric paint.
Add fresh flowers and ribbon for interest and color.
A chalkboard heart sign serves as a menu. Add a few hearts for fun.
Using heart doilies, send your sweetie a Valentine message by placing it under a clear plate or a clear disposable plastic plate.
When your guest moves their breakfast...the note is revealed. How cute is that??
I like to add vintage pieces where I can. These cute Valentines add interest and make a great conversation piece.
DIY Napkin rings... made from burlap and felt!! This is another fun project too!! Best 20 minutes Valentine DIY project right here!! See how to make it here: Valentine Napkin Rings
Little details add BIG impact.
Paper straws with tiny red hearts placed in each glass makes drinking orange juice just a little more special on Valentine's Day.
At each place I like to add a little treat bag...filled with a small Valentine gift.
For a few minutes of your time, you can have a Valentine table that your guests are sure to fall in love with!!
Need a fun activity or table centerpiece?? Save an extra gingerbread house or better yet, pick up a discounted one right after the holidays!! Make a Valentine inspired gingerbread house using conversation hearts and fun seasonal candy!! A sweet treat and a craft all rolled into one!!
