Of course you can paint them! You can paint just about anything these days! Here is a link with instructions to get you started: http://www.doityourself.com/stry/how-to-paint-mdf-cabinet-doors
With proper preparation anything is possible. https://www.hometalk.com/categories/painting-techniques/interior/cabinets
Actually MDF takes paint very well! It's main use started for outdoor signs, then I got popular with carpenters, furniture makers, and woodworkers. It's stable, unbelievably flat, not subject to temp changes.
Thanks, William. Great news, do you know why people say that you can't touch up or repaint it?
Ah, that makes perfect sense.
Yes, use Sander Deglosser by Klean Strip. then paint and seal with poly ureathene. I did it in my bathroom.
Thanks, Carmen.
You definitely can! Good luck, let us know how it goes!!
You ABSOLUTELY can! And if they're laminate rather than MDF, I've posted an easy tutorial for painting cabinets on my blog, The Bachelorette Pad Flip: https://bachelorettepadflip.com/2016/08/14/painting-laminate/
Yes you can - do proper prep and sand well! Since you already have posts to check out, I wont share another one!
Thanks, Teresa.
