You can make a DIY louvre scrubber- good luck!!
I bought a steam cleaner (mop with attachments) which has a hand attachment. Got it at Walmart (but I think you can pick it up at hardware stores also) on sale for about $130. I have plantation shutters which catch a lot of dust and the attachment that came with the cleaner makes the shutters look brand new. I also clean the windows with the same attachment. I use the same attachment for baseboards. Another attachment works great for door jams. Barbara
Simply--Swiffer. My house (built 1950) has Hot water radiant heat that flows between the two floors. On the ground floor we have two fans that, in winter (W. Mass) recirculate the warm air down. Swiffer makes a wand and replaceable, adjustable covers. It pulls the dust off the fans, the ceilings, and the venetian blinds in my study.
I do not usually tout a specific product, but this one should do the job for you.
Thanks!
