How to get bleach marks off of great rugs?

    Sorry! Those are not marks. The bleach remove some of the color. One thing you could try is use Sharpie markers and see if you can color the spots in.

    if the bleach spots are large and not just sprinkles, and you have a carpet piece left over from the instillation- you could remove the damaged area and patch with the reserved scrap of carpet.

    I found this but havent tried it yet: Mix 4 cups of warm water with 2 tbsp of white vinegar. Pour this solution over the stained area of your carpet. After letting it soak into the stain for about 5 minutes, rub the stain with a cloth or sponge. The bleach stain should gradually start to disappear.- good luck and keep us posted!!!

      bleach is not a stain. it is the opposite of a stain. the bleach destroyed the color and is also slowly destroying the fibers. eventually there will be a hole.

    I am sorry to say, the bleach removed the color. There is not a way to bring it back. Try painting it or as mentioned above Sharpies permanent markers. Good luck.
