Sealing after cleaning? You can use rain x but you will still have to do a regular cleaning on the doors. With that use a squeeze.
Try rubbing the area with a fabric softener sheet, it will make the glass buildup-resistant.
Paste wax like car or furniture wax. Works great.

What I do is wipe down the door in and out with lemon oil orange oil etc.
If you don't care for this you can wash it off.
Water will bead up and soap film etc will sit on top of the oil.
Wipe with a dry rag and reapply the oil when needed.
You can also take an old towel and wipe it down the walls.
The most important thing is never use bar soap. That's where the film comes from. Always use body wash and you wont get that film in the first place.
