Kid Room Organization
werevd.I guess a lot has to do with how old the child is. When mine were very young until they were around 5 or 6, I cut triangular shapes in stretchy material and hung them as hammocks in the corners to hold less often played with stuffed toys and soft things. It was easy to just stuff them on there and at one point I had 3 hanging under each other so they could reach the lowest ones. T used to pput their larger trucks in the bottom one.
When they got a bit older I added an inexpensive (IKEA) billy bookcase and some baskets.
I also used old drawers from old furniture and added wheels on the bottom for storage under the bed that was easily accessible.
Cheap shelving in closets or and old dresser with shelving above it works to always lowered the hanging rod to 3 feet as they could reach. and often had a dresser that held one end of the rod so the rod was only 1/2 the width of the closet - mind you I had all boys so no dresses!
From my experience teaching kindergarten- labels labels labels! If your kid is too young to read, then you can use labels that have both the words and a picture to represent . Re-use shoeboxes and the like to give everything a distinct place- good luck!

The Dollar Store is a great place to find baskets for organization -- if your child is too young to read labels, you can sort by colors or whatever works. Use command strips to hang things up; use a clear shoe holder on the back of doors and/or inside closets; some great inspiration in this article! https://www.buzzfeed.com/peggy/clever-organizational-ideas-for-your-childs-playroom?utm_term=.vcxoe4D4KD#.gkqZ7qpqxp
Hi there! We love organizing! Here are a few ideas to get you inspired!!
Cheers to an organized life!
For kids, I love puting a wood border around the room for hooks. So many things can go on hooks besides clothes - bags of toys, hats, you can even hang shelves off the hooks. So easy for kids to keep up with _ and that is the key to any organizing you choose!
