i'ts not that hard.....but honestly it will look better if you replace the entire screen. usually that's more time, but a better out come. you will need screen in the proper width and length....give it about an inch extra on all sides. and you will need "spline" small plastic rope with ridges- the spline sits in a sm channel in your window frame keeping the screen tight. a special type of tool made for repairing windows- looks like a small pizza slicer but it helps put the spline in the track under the screen. and 1 nice sized brick or large rock.

the brick/ rock helps keep the tension on the screen as you are stuffing it into the channel. i tend to work from the center out, top and bottom first. the sides.

it's frame screen, spline, and then trim screen.

if you just have some small holes and don't have $ for supplies, a curved sewing needle and clear fishing line will work to re weave the screen. or, if you are a bit adventurous use a cookie cutter to make a patch from left over screen.. sew it over the hole. tree, star, child hand for a patch pattern?

i'm not fond of the glue on patches the glue tends to discolor over time.

The dollar store ( my friend......lol) has little flower patches that you can put on your screen if the holes are small. However, if they are larger, the response from Dfm Cascade IA is the best route. It is not difficult to do, just a little daunting, because you are replacing the whole screen. Just remember to start at the center. Measure the whole size of your screen with the spline. You should be able to do it in one piece. Some people do it in sections. Some do it in one piece. It is up to you.
