Where to buy pictures, photos or decals?

You can always google, chicken, rooster or hen images, it will give lots of photos, some will be connected to websites where you can purchase, some you can even print, depending on what you want to do with them. You can print and decopodge.

in the 80's country decor was the rage. many hens and roosters, chicks graced wall paper and borders. there are a few online sources out there.

google rooster or chicken or hens stencil and use them as a template, a good arts and crafts store will probably carry them. Stencils just need to be taped to the area you want and then paint

Find a photo you like - you might be able to have it put onto some sort of velum at an Office Depot - or the like - trim it up and get exactly what you want . . . You know, like the removable decals on the market today. Ebay might have a chicken or two already . . .

Hi Shirley, I looked everywhere online for chicken and rooster stickers and decals for your kitchen cabinets, but could not find anything colorful or realistic for a kitchen! There were a lot of silhouettes and kids' stuff. I DID, however, find a really neat calendar that you could use to make your own removable "peel and stick" decals. The link is below for the calendar (only $20) or search for another one that you desire. You can also use the extra calendar prints to frame for your walls. Here's my idea: choose a calendar page that you want to use. Cut a piece of clear contact paper to roughly the same size as the printed calendar page. Use spray adhesive on the back of the print. Spray the entire back surface of the print. (You could spray the adhesive onto the contact paper instead). Either way, carefully align the print and press it onto the front (good side) of the clear contact paper. You're only going to have one chance to adhere, since the spray adhesive may not let you pull them apart to reposition. Smooth firmly together with a soft cloth. Air bubbles can be eliminated by using a pin to prick the BACK of the contact paper, using the soft cloth to smooth again. Now that the print is adhered to the contact paper (don't trim yet), use a clear gloss spray paint, or brush on mod podge, to the face of the print. This will seal it. Let dry thoroughly for about an hour. If the print/contact curls, press it under heavy books, protecting the printed side with clear wrap so it doesn't stick to anything. Pressing overnight will help the page to relax and lie flat. Now, carefully trim the image as desired. Peel the backing from the contact paper and stick it to your clean cabinet surface, aligning so it is level. Smooth down firmly again, being careful not to trap air bubbles. You should be able reposition the contact paper backing, but try not to. The print can be cleaned as needed with a damp cloth. That's it! Best wishes, gloria. Please send us an update!

Did you try Home Depot, Walmart & Lowe's? If you also know someone with a Cricut machine ? Or try printing it on labels? The labels are cheap and they already have pictures or you can upload your own! If I can do it anyone can!
