Can you put paneling of any kind over a wall that is covered?

It shouldn't be a problem, just makesure to sand first!

  You should be able to just make sure the wall that the paneling is going on is smooth, no nails sticking out or anything that will push the paneling out, if you are going to glue it you will need to sand the wall first, but if you are going to use a nail gun, you don't have to sand first..Good luck..
