sprinkle leftover coffee grounds - this way you giveyour coffee a second purpose and its non toxic!
be sure it is a BAD bug. Many bugs are good bugs and are needed along with bees and butterflies to pollinate plants. Insecticidal soap can be used on the bad ones and will not harm the good ones.
Spray bottle filled with liquid DAWN and water!
As others have said, not all bugs are bad. Contact your local agricultural extension agency to find out what the bad bugs are in your area, and for recommendations to get rid of them. Ultimately, the best way to keep bad bugs away while attracting the good bugs is to have healthy soil and plants--without using chemical fertilizers and insecticides. "Safer Soap" is a good option, but so is diluted dish soap.
Feed the birds!
Hi, if you have slugs or affids sprinkle ground and plants with Diatomaceous Earth. It is all natural. It works great. Not harmful to environment. It is usually cheap. A small amount goes a long way. I put some powder in a clean dry jar with wholes punched in the top. Then just sprinkle around plants and on the leaves. Safe to use on vegetables. Washes off easily. Great when starting seeds directly in the ground. I hope this helps. Good luck.
Most bugs belong in your garden. They feed bird and frogs And other bugs. Don't spray chemicals. Figure out what bug is bothering you and then contact your state Extension Agency to see if you need to do anything thing, and if you do, how to do it without poisoning everything and everyone.
