A little posterboard and scrapbook paper create spring flower- more?

I am ready for spring! I decided to use some poster board and scrapbook paper on a scoring board to create a giant flower! I wanted a button center but could not find my container of buttons! Should I add ribbons hanging down from the middle or leave it as it is.
I ran some jute twine through the center to help hold it together.
Now, I am thinking of all the different ways of putting on scrapbook paper to vary the petals.
Once I had it tight in the middle, bringing the sides together was easier.
I LOVE it!! I would leave it as it is, its getting me so excited for Spring!
