keep as much as the original things as u can, redo cabinets to original finish an then what evr u can't find look in 2nd hand stores or garage sales. it will turn out beautiful, i recomend the farmhouse sink.

I think it is important to decide what really needs to be improved..as in. Appliances. Etc. do you want total update?
