Using scrap wood, leftover bakery doilies, and some spray paint, I created almost free wall art to stage a guest bedroom. The best part [besides the almost free price!] is that this project is custom- pick the colors that match your existing decor!

Don't have a mudroom...but you have a blank wall? Get creative and turn the wall into a mudroom! For $2, I created a "mudroom" area in a flip using leftover junk! It was a super easy project that utilized random wall space.

By utilizing thrift store frames that have been updated with paint and blue wash, framing retro wallpaper was the perfect accent in this midcentury flip!

This project really could FREE! Did you know you can print FREE retro advertising prints and graphics from the Library of Congress? There are so many unique prints that make unique wall art! I utilized several to create a retro inspired gallery wall of reading and book prints!

One of my favorite projects that gets utilized and changed all year long is my DIY Postcard Display. I tend to collect postcards in my travels and I display them using a thrift store frame and frequently change them out. During the holiday season, I trade the postcards for Christmas cards that I receive.

One of my favorite things to do is upcycle things to give them new life! I took salvaged garden lattice panels, gave them a fresh white wash, and created a Fixer Upper worthy project to minimize random extra wall space. Now I hang seasonal wreaths on each panel to add dimension and color! This was such an easy and affordable project!

    I really like the painted bakery dolly idea! I've been using patterned napkins or wallpaper and framing them to spruce up my walls. But I like the idea of something more customizable. I will definitely file this tip away thanks!!
