Bathroom Makeover,elder Tub Gone

Some may have seen my post on the elder tub in this 60's house. I wasn't sure what to do,but after trying to take a shower in it,which was a joke,no room to move around,we decided to remove it and install a big shower. So a little peek at the goings on....and on ...and on. Why was I expecting a 2 or 3 day process? It took parts of 8 days. Then a couple of days to pull my house back together. We got special accent tile and other stuff, and with labor it came to about 3500.
This is the finish, although not all accessorizing is done.
This is before....tub came out in one piece and we sold it on craigs list. We were just about to take it to the dump and a woman called, ex cited to buy it. Sold it for a pittance! But relieved.
i finally started to relax a bit at this point.
Hubs had painted the walls white, they were gold tannish..not very flattering to skin color.
Hubs painting the vanity...just until we get a different one. This is hard to use,the lower right and left cabinet doors are so narrow, almost useless.
Needs some more accessorizing. That will happen. Now,we discussed the elder tub in my other Posting. It is not a wonderful thing..hard to get in and out of,you sit cold, until the water drains, and a helper can't get in and help you in an urgent situation. As for all the glass on the doors...maybe I wouldnt do glass doors again. the glass has to be squeeg-ed and wiped with soft cloth after showering. I guess I didn't realize how much time that would take when you are dripping wet and wanting to get out. Also the door is not as wide as I would like,so a little schooching to get in and out. BUT ......it sure is pretty!!! 🤗😊
This was the vanity...before...hmmmmmm🤔
Enjoyed the project?

May I be so bold as to ask what the whole thing cost in materials? I am hoping to replace my (regular fiberglass) tub, we don't take baths, we only shower; I want exactly what you have, a tiled shower with a glass door. Oh, and I would love to put a little bench seat if there's room.........
