What would be the best cover up for an ugly tile counter top?

Does anyone have any semi-easy ways to cover this countertop without replacing it? I was thinking cement but not sure how to finish off the edges. Any suggestions on products or any idea would be appreciated. They are 4.5 x 4.5 and as you can see worn out and the grout is disgusting I need these gone!! Thank you in advance
