When looking to add a touch of color to your kitchen and DIY is (or is not) your thing, try making these easy and colorful wooden trivets. These can cost tons of money but not anymore. The possibilities of colors are endless and you will love the final look.
Step 1- Remove metal springs and take the pins apart carefully.
Step 2 - Paint the wooden clothespins and let dry (it dries up pretty fast)
Step 3 - Sort the pins
Step 4 - Arrange pins accordingly and glue each one.
Step 5 - Let dry overnight.
Final look - This is what my trivets looked like when I was done.

I am using Elmers Wood Glue to put mine together. I will have to let you know after some use if they stay together or not. I would also tell you not to get the clothes pins from a craft store $$$$. I bought mine from Walmart and the Dollar Store, but Walmart was 100 for $1.97 and 50 for 97 cents.
