An Average Cubby Turned Into a Fabulous Laundry Room Cart!

I had to face facts! My Laundry Room is small and cramped, but I needed to make the most of the space. That included a small space between my stacked washer and dryer and the wall. I totally had a brainstorm one day for a project that was soooo easy. And to my surprise, it became a multi-functional piece,
You've seen these cubbies everywhere right? You put them together and add cute little baskets. Well, I decided that this would be the basis for creating more storage in my laundry room.
First things first, four small castors at each corner. Easy peasey.
Second, a leftover handle on the outside end, which allowed me to pull out the cubby but also allowed me to hang a cute hand towel.
On top, I had plenty of room for a small wire basket to hold laundry products and keep them in reach.
Next I added the baskets.
Next I added the baskets and organized them as needed.
And then I rolled it into place. The bonus part I didn't even think about was it gave me an small amount of extra counterspace when folding clothes.
And when I am done...
The castors allow me to roll it back in out of the way. This was probably one of THE easiest DIY's I have completed in a while. Wanna a cute and FREE Laundry Room printable? Click the link below to download and print it.

B. Enne on Feb 25, 2017Wow I was just thinking of doing something similar, but on a larger scale for extra towels and sheets. Yours looks good, and now I know for sure it will work. Thanks for the reminder!
