LITTLE IMPROVEMENTS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

This is a corner in my kitchen counter that has very limited in space but it is the best place for the coffee pot. While I have enjoyed my "cup" tree, it has begun to bug me...I had to fix it! With a lot of help from Hubs, cup hooks solved the problem!
My next project is making "back of the counter risers" which will be about 8" deep to serve as shallow shelves. I will post that project later and let you know how it is working out!
This cup tree was getting on my nerves. I was constantly moving it to wipe up spills and coffee grounds...so it had to go!

Hubs drilled holes and screwed in 6 cup hooks...problem solved. This spot is also where son likes to store the "composting" container that he keeps to gather goodies to feed his worm bed! We are working on a project to build some risers to give us more space on the counters (and hopefully the one here will cover up the composting container). Will post later!
Suggested materials:
  • 6 cup hooks   (They were in one of the boxes of screws and things.)
