I labeled all of my husband's spice containers...I designed them at avery.com and had them print them - the labels they use are much better than the ones you can buy in the office supply stores!

Cover them with clear packing & shipping tape.
I print on regular paper and then either cover the whole page with clear contact before I cut out the labels or cut them and then use the clear packing tape. I also make my own business cards using a color picture of my home and use packing tape to cover both sides. Works great!
