You can stenciil a design on the edge and bedazzle it! Have fun with it!
You can glue small mosaic tile squares around it.
I redid my mother's bathroom mirror. Cut crown molding and framed it out. White glossy paint. It is a definite improvement!

If you have room between your light fixture and your mirror, you could add a shelf the length of your mirror in between and add décor on the shelf.
You can hang a couple of panels on a pretty curtain rod above the mirror and let the panels drape around the mirror I have done this before and it looks very elegant if that's the look you're going for. Q
Lowe's and Home Depot have different size decorative boards. Make your own frame. Paint or stain it to match your decor
You can add a frame around it. And or is you have room make a mosaic around it. a fun way to use up broken pottery, tiles. And the mirror can be functional as well. Hang little tins from it and each member of the family can have a place to put their toothbrush.
Frame it! It's so easy to do!
Thank you
i framed the one in basement bath with 3" baseboard, painted it and glued on sea shells.
upstairs we bought 12x12 sheets of tiles ie: 1" squares on a netting material. Then added grout that comes in many colours to match. I also added a couple of rows to the legging around the back splash. Since these are one inch squares, I cut out a space of 4 tiles on each corner, remember they are 1" sqauared, then added in its place a turquoise accent 2" square decorative tile. It fits perfectly with the ones I cut away.
The mirror comes outward with mirror doors that open to cabinets. Old school, but look Awsome now. Above the tile on top of the mirror I added a really nice bar of lights with large cup type inverted glass with bulbs inside. I cannot believe the outcome. It looks professionally done, but is so easy. Many color choices on the 1" squares, 2" sqauares and the grout. Possibilities endless and repels water that splashes.
