The Joy Of Rescuing Furniture

This beauty had been stored away in a closet for years! My client still used it for storage but it was cosmetically challenged and she didn't want to display it. It was rescued years before from an abandoned rent house and had damage from top to bottom. The bones were still good though and the piece was structurally sound. We went with a soft, neutral color palette and instead of repairing all the damage, I highlighted it. Those knicks and flaws were part of it's story after all! Rescued again! It brought me great joy to give it new life! Check out my blog for all the before and after pics!

Tana, Little Red Bag Productions on Apr 01, 2014Good grief. You are a brave and brilliant gal! One of the nicest I've seen to date. Love how you maintained its integrity whilst adding beauty...
